Téma: Technická podpora AMPEG - Nepodporuje
Chtěl bych se podělit o zkušenosti s technickou podporou Ampeg, potažmo Loud Technologies.
Obrátil jsem se na ně s problémem, který popisuje spousta uživatelů PF500 i na Talkbassu. Tedy pokud je gain nastaven poměrně vysoko, stane se, že při silnějším záběru do strun, či dotyku s pólovými nástavci, portaflex prostě na 2 sekundy zmlkne. A to prosím bez toho, že by kontrolka přebuzení blikla
Někteří popisují, že je potřeba nastavit gain načisto a pak teprve přidat kompresi (od té doby jsem zatím nezkoušel, mám to ve zkušebně), jiní tvrdí, že jim to dělá neustále. Jeden člověk dokonce píše, že mu Ampeg bezplatně hlavičku vyměnil.
Chtěl jsem se tedy vyhnout spekulacím a napsal přímo Ampegu. Nebudu to okecávat, tady je naše emailová konverzace, která skončila mým e-mailem, na který se mi odpovědi nedostalo.

I have had the little PF500 for about a week now, I am very satisfied with the functionality for its price.Anyway, I am having issues with the soud being cut off when I need to crank the strings or slap.
I have looked through TalkBass, looking for some answers, but the answers vary quite a bit. Some say, it is just a question of setting the gain, before setting the compressor treshold, some say they have this issue, no matter how they set it.
I tried several settings, and I get this cut out even without the gain led giving me a single blink.I don’t wanna end up with no sound coming out of it in the middle of a gig, can you please advise. The amp is not brand new, but it is still under warranty (bought in Czech republic in JAN 2012). Can I get it tested somewhere in Czech republic or even central Europe ?

Ok, thanks for your very brief answer, but that much I can find on your website.
How about some comment about the issue ? There are similar issues described all over internet, so I would really appreciate if you give me some better answer but "see your distributor". I would expect this kind of answer from a sales department, not a technical support.
Please, do not make me switch amp brand due to lousy technical support (again. I was hoping for better with Ampeg)
